Well, I came up with another new story and I hope that you guys will like it! Thank you very much!
Arc 1 – Meeting after six years
Chapter 1 – He left me alone
My legs turned jelly the moment I saw the plane he was
taking taking off for Britain. He did not even tell me that he was going there.
He did not even wait for me to arrive at the airport.
“Mirabelle!” Angeline and George had finally caught up with
me, just to see the pathetic side of me. Mirabelle crouched down to my side.
“He left me… He left me… I haven’t even got the chance to
tell him that I love him!” I cried, disregarding the fact that I was actually
crying in front of at least a million people in the airport and that people
could just have taken a photo of me crying and make a great fuss over it. At
least, Angeline and George were two kind souls to embraced me and cover me from
the crowd gathered.
“hush, Mira. He’ll return. Trust him,” Angeline patted my
back to cool me down. It reminded me how much she resembled my mother.
I sniffed back another cry and felt Angeline’s smooth hands
wiping away the tears on my face. “Yea… He’ll return.”
“Now, if that jackass didn’t return within a good half a
year, consider him dead.” George assured me. I nodded my head and chuckled
softly, standing up from my original awkward position. A huge crowd had
gathered around me, with cameras flicking non-stop and reporters shoving their
mikes at me.
“Are you Mirabelle Carlson?”
“Could you please answer us?”
“Why are you crying?”
“Who is the ‘him’ that you have been referring to?”
“What is your relationship with ‘him’?”
“Did you get dumped by ‘him’?”
“Miss Carlson, could you please answer us?”
The paparazzi is making my brain go berserk and I was almost
on my verge of exploding when George shoved me into the car and shut the car
door close.
“She didn’t get dump by him!” he answered them on my behalf
and get into the driver’s seat. He pulled over the handle with immense force
and started the car.
“You didn’t have to say that you know, George,” I said,
looking out from the car window.
“What? It is true that Ryan didn’t dump you. In fact, you
guys are never in a relationship!” he answered.
I kept my mouth shut for a few seconds.
“Mirabelle?” Angeline turned behind to look at me.
“I’m fine. You’re right, George. Ryan and I were never in a
relationship. So, I have no right to expect him to tell me everything,” I
sniffed back another urge to cry.
“H-Hey, I’m just speaking without thinking, Mira,” he
apologized.
“It’s alright, George. I’m just… I’m just envious of how you
and Angeline can be together. It must have felt good,” I plastered a smile on
my face. I could feel Angeline’s concerned eyes staring at me for a good long
time but I decided to look away, ignoring her.
Just how far away is
Britain from the US? I wish I could reach there now.
To think that I’ve actually stayed up late for his phone
calls for several nights is crazy. That guy had not called back.
He is an idiot. Leaving me here without telling me when he
would come back.
Maybe I am the idiot to have waited for him for half a year.
But that’s all history now.
