I was never a girl who anyone's notices me, a completely dull looking face and plain character. I w non-existence to my classmates as though I am a transparent person, living in a world filled with people who I can see but can't see me. Think of me as a leaf, lying on the ground. It would have been a lot happier if I am a tree, at least people would notice me but a life being a leaf is too pathetic.
I used to have my long black hair up into two plaits in which schools always say and think of it as the style in which the role model should have. That's why I purposely had them tied up like that, so that the principle and the teachers would notice me, but none did.
So, with a hairstyle I had not tried before, I entered high school, not hoping for anything and for anyone to notice me because I have already resigned myself to a transparents person. I no longer wear the spectacles that I used to wear, instead I wore contacts. I cut my skirt short because I like it and now, I am finally living my life not under the shadows of the others but as a person and life that I like.
That is the me right now, Summer Miranda Carlson.
"Hey, who's that?" I heard people talking.
I knew that they were not talking to me so I continued walking.
"not sure, but she looks damn hot! Which class do yo think she is in?" a guy asked.
"Trying to hit on her? She's mine, mind you," another guy answered.
So, there are hot babes in this school too.
Never did I know that they were referring to me.
"Look at those long sleek black hair and brown hair. She looks a bit like Asian." a guy said.
An Asian girl? Someone from this school is also an Asian girl like me?
Lost in my thoughts, I accidentally bumped into someone.
"Sorry, are you alright?" I asked, looking up just to meet a muscular chest. I looked up further to meet a pair of blue eyes and black hair.
"I guess I'm alright," he answered with a smile.
Am I just imagining? Or is it that I really saw a prince in front of me?
He is really cute.
"Are you alright? You seemed to be spacing out," he asked me.
He is worried about me, a nobody?
"I am alright! See!" I hit my forehead just to feel a stingy pain.
"See? That's what happens when you bump your head into a basketball," he chuckled.
I smiled awkwardly. He seems like a really nice person and is really...
Hot!
"Come, let's bring you to the infirmary," he pulled me on my hand and ran towards the infirmary like a little kid.
He knows his way in this school? That means he is a senior.
"Ah!" he suddenly spoke.
"What?" I asked when he stopped round the corner.
"I lost my way. This is my first day in school," he answered.
"What?!"
"What what? It is pretty easy to digest that right? I am a new student here, so I don't know my way in the school. Do you know?"
"Of course I don't! I am a first year too!" I answered.
Right, this guy is not cute. He is a blockhead.
"That's great. Then we can get lost together."
And he still dared to smile.
I swear to tear off those smiles off his face.
"What's your name?" he asked.
For some reason, the anger inside me subsidized.
"Summer, Summer Carlson," I answered.
"Ryan stevenson," he said his name.
"Ryan Stevenson? That's cool having the same name as the child of our prime minister and also the heir to the Royal organization," I laughed.
"Is that really funny?" he asked.
"Yup! You know how much I abhors that person? He has all the light shining on him like no one else business and yet he doesnt care. He didn't know how much I yearned for that kind of light. I.."
"That's me, I am the Ryan Stevenson you are talking about," he answered flatly.
He is Ryan Stevenson? Yeah, I know that the Ryan Stevenson on TV is rumored to be a damn
